Q: What first got you interested in running cross country?

A: My friend Jamal and I wanted to get in shape for 8th grade basketball.

Q: What is your greatest memory during your time running cross country?

A: My greatest memories are the late night conversations with my teammates each night, and camp at Shepherd of the Ozarks this year.

Q: What is your favorite course to run?

Why?

A: Buhlow - it's daunting but I always

PR there.

Q: What else do you enjoy doing outside

the sport?

A: Golf, basketball, video games,

binge watching Netflix, working out.

Q: What are your plans following

high school?

A:To enroll at a 4-year university in the

South and pursue an engineering degree.

Q: What advice would you give to runners

who are just starting to get involved in the sport?

A:Work hard but do not be too severe on yourself. Your feelings toward running are directly related to your attitude.

Q: What has the sport of cross country taught you that you believe will help you in the future?

A: The pain of self-betterment isn't fun, but it beats the psychological suffering of patheticness.
