Q: What first got you interested in running cross country?
​
A: It was a great way to meet new people and make friends at my new school.
​
Q: What is your greatest memory during your time running cross country?
​
A: My greatest memory in cross country is winning a 2 mile race in eighth grade and understanding why people work so hard for cross country.
​
Q: What is your favorite course to run? Why?
​
A: My favorite course is Buhlow because of the endurance it takes.
​
Q: What else do you enjoy doing outside the sport?
​
A: I enjoy swimming and soccer. I also enjoy spending time with my friends
​
Q: What are your plans following high school?
​
A: To graduate and attend Tulane University where I want to study and become an anesthesiologist.
​
Q: What advice would you give to runners who are just starting to get involved in the sport?
​
A: Choosing to do this hard sport makes a lot of other hard things in life seem easier.
​
Q: What has the sport of cross country taught you that you believe will help you in the future?
​
A: It has taught me that you have to believe in yourself if you want to succeed.
